Taita Falcon Lodge is
situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, a short distance from the
Victoria Falls, 20km from Livingstone. The lodge is perched on the very edge of
the Batoka Gorge above Rapids 16 and 17,with spectacular views of the raging

The name of the lodge
originates from resident Vereaux ( Black ) Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, and the
Taita Falcon. Enjoy the warm Zambian hospitality of this unique bush lodge, made
and furnished with local materials and uniquely designed to complement and
enhance the natural surroundings, whilst creating a feeling of intimacy and
privacy. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the raging river below, while relaxing
in your romantic open plan chalet of reed and stone .... Attention has been paid
to create a comfortable retreat , each with double bed, mosquito net, en- suite
shower and private zen garden. A Sumptuous dinner is served under the African
skies or around the boma fire...
